Having received a duplicate name plate necklace as a gift, this mother decided to give Diamonds On The Key the older necklace as scrap gold value, towards the purchase of a new piece of fine jewelry. After evaluating the piece, and prior to scraping the item, it was suggested to the client to utilize one of two names on the necklace, (her daughter’s name: Raquel) to create trendy new pendant, to “gift” to her daughter for her upcoming birthday! The client loved the idea and selected a 14 karat yellow gold, 16 inch beaded station necklace, from a variety of samples. The old scratched name plate was polished bright to match the new yellow chain necklace, and soldered in place. The other unused name and thin necklaces were applied towards this sweet makeover. The client was so pleased with the new design and is excited to gift the “makeover” piece to her daughter!
