Mother & Me Makeover

A mother and daughter duo greatly enjoyed wearing their similar “circle of life” diamond pendants every day, while traveling the world together. After her mother’s passing, the daughter wondered what to do with the pendant, not wanting to break it apart or give it away. Since her pendant was a smaller circumference than her mother’s, it was decided to “join” both circles into one wearable piece. 

 

A frame was hand made to suspend the smaller diamond circle in the center of the larger circle, removing its hidden bail, to lay smooth on the skin and at the same thickness as the outer circle. A new round cable chain was supplied, with a larger clasp, for ease of taking on and off. Steam cleaning, polishing and bright white rhodium completed the new “double circle of life” pendant, so the daughter can enjoy traveling the world wearing a sparkling memento of her Mother.
