This long time, trusted client of Diamonds On The Key turned to Christina Termine for a makeover of her original diamond engagement ring. The white gold metal of the ring had darkened and turned grey from years of use and the some of the mine cut diamonds from the mounting were brown and chipped.
The original ring also had more metal and appeared bulkier than she liked. The center antique old mine cut round diamond was unset, cleaned, inspected and weighed. A new design was discussed with the client and a CADD rendering was prepared for the clients approval.
Fine quality, natural full cut diamonds were supplied for the new setting with a single row shank. The new ring was cast in platinum, in her exact finger size, and with a decorative, scalloped bezel in heavy metal around the diamonds for added protection. Final bright white rhodium finish and polishing was completed before presenting the new ring to the client.
She and her husband were thrilled with their new custom ring, hand delivered by Christina, just in time to celebrate their anniversary! 🫶🏼
