Antique Ring Restore
A beloved antique diamond ring, having weathered much wear & tear over decades of use, lost its central yellow diamond. Wanting to restore the ring to its original beauty but having a fixed budget, Diamonds On The Key sourced and supplied a lovely faceted yellow sapphire, in a similar color tone to the yellow diamond, for the center focal gemstone. Damaged, delicate prongs were replaced and the entire ring received a new “rose gold” plating, to bring back the original metal color. The end result was a beautifully restored ring, as the recipient first remembered it, being handed down from her Mother In Law over 30 years ago!
