Braided Break
A beloved braided, Italian gold ring, which was received over 20 years ago as a “welcome to the family” gift, showed decades of wear & tear, it’s original 3 colors of tri-color gold “dulled + worn down” over time, with 1 braided link broken, the interior gold darkened and the outer metal showing heavy surface scratches. The flexible link received a new “joint”, the interior was steam cleaned, the outer metal surface polished to a high shine and all 3 colors of rose, yellow and white gold restored like new, with detailed “step-by-step” rhodium plating process in each color. The client said the newly refurbished ring looked exactly as she had received it 20 years ago!
