The client presented a traditional round brilliant–cut diamond engagement ring with the request to reset the stone into a more contemporary design. The diamond was carefully unset from its original mounting, professionally cleaned, and documented, including verification of its weight and condition. A modern setting concept was developed featuring a double shank design in 14k yellow gold, offering both visual strength and a refined architectural profile.

A custom CADD model was created to finalize proportions, shank width, and stone elevation, ensuring optimal light performance and long-term durability. Upon client approval of the CADD design, the new setting was completed and the diamond securely reset. A new appraisal reflecting the updated design and current replacement value was issued upon completion.
