Half-Round Riviera Necklace
Wanting to create an extra special gift for his wife on Mother’s Day, this long time client of Diamonds On The Key reached out to Christina to create a custom made “Diamond Riviera Necklace”. As the recipient wanted diamonds only running along the front half of the necklace, it therefore needed to be custom made with a special setting ordered in 14 karat white gold, and then set with 3 carats of diamonds.
By designing the necklace with half way set diamonds, and half white gold beading detail, the budget was “leveraged”, giving the illusion of a 6 carat total weight necklace running end to end, versus reducing the size of the individual diamonds, to fit the budget.
The custom 3 prong diamond mounting measured 16 inches in length and is a perfect size for daily wear and layering.
No surprise, this mom was VERY happy with her custom piece of new jewelry!
