When this client no longer had a use for her yellow gold diamond band, featuring ten princess cut diamonds, the idea of converting the band to a pair of earrings was born, to better suit her current style.

Rather than unsetting the diamonds from their channel set design, the original design and setting style was preserved for cost savings with the gold band gently cut in half into halves. The gold was reimagined and crafted into a pair of modern half huggie style earrings, by supplying posts and push backings, allowing the diamonds to take on a fresh, elevated form.

Each earring now contained five diamonds, creating a balanced mirror effect with subtle sparkle and everyday wearability.

The transformation preserves the essence of the original band while giving it new life as a refined, contemporary pair of earrings, designed to shine in a completely new way!
