No longer wanting to wear her diamond ring, this client discussed a makeover with Christina and loved the idea of remounting her 2 carat diamond into a casual style necklace, which she could wear often. The entire process was done remotely, by sharing pictures and ideas, and then a selection of various size, modern yellow gold paperclip chains were mailed to the client to try on.
After selecting a chain, the diamond and all chains were shipped back to the office of Diamonds On The Key, via an insured FedEx label that was emailed to the client.
The diamond was set into a custom made, yellow gold bezel for a smooth modern look, and attached to the selected chain, with the scrap metal value of the old platinum ring mounting applied towards labor costs. The client was simply overjoyed with her new, timeless necklace!
