Ring to Pendant Transformation
After a diamond engagement ring upgrade, this client wondered what to do with her original engagement ring, as she wanted to be able to utilize it and not have it sit in a drawer. Since she already owned a beautiful graduated diamond riviera style necklace from Diamonds On The Key, it was decided to create a pendant, which could be worn alone on a simple chain, or together with the diamond necklace. The diamond was unset from the original ring mounting, measured for size, and remounted into a 4 prong pendant setting, with a diamond accented “rabbit ear” bale, which could easily slide over and fit onto the necklace. The result was a dazzling new piece of jewelry, to be worn day or night!
