Wide Band Ring Makeover

A client visited our office with a classic, traditional solitaire diamond ring, timeless in its own right, but no longer reflective of her evolving personal style. She was ready for a bold transformation, something more substantial and modern, while still honoring the sentimental value of her original diamond.

Together, we designed a stunning cigar band ring, a wide band that makes a strong statement. Her original diamond was reset in a burnished style, also known as a gypsy or flush setting, where the diamond is embedded directly into the gold for a smooth, sleek finish. This setting not only provides a clean, contemporary look but also offers excellent protection for the diamond, making it ideal for everyday wear.
