3 Stone Anniversary Ring Upgrade
In celebration of their 10 year wedding anniversary, this couple turned to Diamonds On The Key, to update and upgrade the style of their original engagement ring. Wanting a more impactful style ring, a classic “3 Stone design”, also known as a “Boston Ring”, was selected, representing the Past, Present & Future!
The central diamond was unset from its mounting, weighed (1.07 carats) and evaluated for quality. All other small diamonds were removed from the old setting and set aside, for a future makeover project. A pair of round, full cut diamonds, weighing .50 carats each, were sourced and selected, matching in color and quality to the larger central diamond, which balanced in scale perfectly!
A new mounting in high polished, 14 karat white gold was custom cast to fit the 3 diamonds, and mounted into place.
The client’s new 10 year anniversary ring is strong enough to be enjoyed for every day wear and she was thrilled by the sparkling new result of something old combined with something new!
