A new client, referred to Diamonds On The Key, brought her worn wedding band in for repair.
Upon examination, it was shown that the prongs were lifted in several areas, with many diamonds having become loose, and the gold metal color was beginning to turn. The wedding band also did not match the style of her engagement ring, which had accent diamonds, mounted in a channel setting.
After discussing options, a full “resetting” of the band was decided, to transform the band into a sleek “channel setting” with small recessed prongs, to secure the diamonds. A new setting was designed to fit the size and quantity of diamonds, and cast in sturdy platinum, matching to her engagement ring, so that there would not be any future concern of the ring turning color again.
The client was overwhelmed by the gorgeous transformation and the brand new look of her wedding ring!
