Engagement Ring Makeover
After 13 years of marriage and 2 children, this #DOTKGirl was due an “upgrade” of her engagement ring, originally purchased from Christina Termine in 2010. The decision to cast the new ring mounting in durable platinum was immediately decided, because her original white gold rings would “yellow”throughout the years, due to the rhodium plating wearing off, despite often “replating”year after year, due to the pH balance of her skin and hard daily wear & tear. Knowing she wanted a classic 3 stone ring, two side diamonds were sourced, to match the color of her original center diamond.
The client’s husband wished to add two, 1.00 carat diamonds, to flank either side, and represent their 2 children. A design was CADD rendered and approved to fit the 3 diamonds and cast in platinum. The entire family was THRILLED with this sparkling upgrade and the happy client is back to wearing and enjoying her new, special ring daily!
