Pendant Makeover Set With 10 Diamonds
Diamonds from a client’s small ‘Honey Comb’ pendant, which was rarely worn, were easily transformed during this makeover, utilizing all the diamonds in a budget friendly way.
Instead of creating a custom piece, the client viewed finished jewelry at the Diamonds On the Key showroom, and fell in love with an overlapping yellow gold diamond bar necklace. Building upon the existing design of the necklace, the client’s 6 diamonds were unset and added into the scattered diamond pattern, with her diamonds being set in the same “mini 3 prong style”, to create a total of 10 scattered diamonds stations on the necklace, which added much more sparkle to this beautiful piece.
The gold from the client’s original pendant was credited as “scrap gold value” towards the purchase + labor incurred for the remounting of the diamonds.
A sparkling new piece!
