Prong Refurbishment

This client brought in a 14k white gold engagement ring featuring an antique cut diamond. The ring had suffered a broken prong, leaving the diamond vulnerable to becoming loose or lost. To preserve the integrity of the ring and ensure the diamond’s security, a brand new full head was cast in 14k white gold with 6 prongs.

The new head of the ring and the 6 prongs not only restored the ring’s original stability but also enhanced the overall appearance of the piece. The final result, as shown in the after image, is a securely set diamond in a beautifully restored ring, ready to be worn and enjoyed for years to come.
