This client brought in a white metal diamond halo ring, originally set with an old mine cut center stone that had been removed for another makeover project. The ring had missing, chipped and brown diamonds that needed replacing and refurbishing, which was dimensioning its appearance.
After considering various options, it was decided to use a red spinel gemstone as the center, focal stone, adding a unique and vibrant touch to the ring. Additional smaller diamonds were supplied and set into the mounting. The ring received a deep polishing and steam cleaning, to remove the scratches and abrasions from years of wear and tear. The final result is a beautifully restored piece, now featuring the striking contrast of red spinel within the diamond halo, ready to be treasured once again.
