This client returned to Diamonds On The Key, which created a beautiful custom-made classic 3 stone diamond & aquamarine ring, after she had lost her original wedding ring. The original idea of selecting the aquamarine gemstones was to incorporate the color of the “Caribbean Ocean” into her new ring, as a symbol of the destination where she & her husband had become engaged over 20 years ago.

After a few months of wear, the client was not pleased with the light color of the aquamarines, as the color easily became “washed out” and “cloudy”, when not cleaned on a daily basis. Wanting a stronger blue color, she brought the issue to the attention of Christina Termine, owner of Diamonds On The Key, for a solution. After reviewing other varieties of darker blue gemstones, “teal green sapphires” were chosen as a replacement, for their intense color. Special size triangular-cut gemstones were sourced and reset into the existing platinum mounting. The client was thrilled with the vibrant new color!
